Former Lango Won Nyaci Yosam Odur Ebii Die
LIRA CITY – The Lango sub-region is today mourning the loss of a pivotal cultural leader, His Highness Yosam Odur Ebii, the former Won Nyaci (Paramount Chief) of the Lango Cultural Foundation.
Mzee Odur Ebii passed away this morning, Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Lira University Teaching Hospital.
The death was officially confirmed Ocen Jacob, the Lango Cultural foundation spokesman ending a long and influential chapter in the cultural and political history of the Lango people.
The legacy of His Highness Yosam Odur Ebii will always be treasured the people of Lango.
