President of the republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in his latest address on the Covid-19 situation in the country has ordered that curfew hours should still be maintained at 7pm to 5:30am as it was before.

However, Bodas are allowed to operate up to 6pm with only 1 passenger.

Kikuubo and other malls and arcades in the country will also resume operation with conditions and should remain a wholesale centre only while other forms of markets remain closed except food markets which remain opened.

In the case of events, Museveni also ordered that burials and weddings should not exceed 20 people.

Other places which closer have been maintained are Bars, casinos, betting, places of worship and school, on schools, he added that studies should be virtually conducted until further notice. (connected to vaccination)

He added that public transport will commence on Monday carrying 50 percent of the total number of passengers.
