Socialite Namuyimbwa Shanitah alias Bad Black has become the latest Brand Ambassador for Uganda’s leading education hub, the Victoria University.
Bad Black inked the deal on Monday, September 27 at the University’s offices in Kampala joining a long list of bloggers recently paraded Victoria University who among others include; Ashburg Katto, Isma Olaxes as both students on bursary and ambassadors.
In a press brief released on Monday, Victoria University said Bad Black will serve in the position for the next one year running from 27 September 2021 to 27, September, 202.
“Victoria University shall subject to the terms and conditions hereof engage the Brand Ambassador to market the brand as determined Victoria University,” reads part of the contract signed between VU and the socialite.
As the Brand Ambassador, she will be engaged in the business of brand marketing of one of the best private institutions of higher learning in Uganda through her various social media platforms.
Best known for her explicit talk,Bad Black is one of the socialites in Uganda with huge following on social media and she has used her brand and name to make money through corporate endorsements.
Her most recent deal being the one with ministry of health where she was asked to rally sex workers to observe the Covid-19 SoPs.
Not to hide her excitement, the ‘talk as it is’ lady hit her socials to announce the good news to her fans moments after the unveiling.
“I can’t explain but coming live to address you in English as am the official brand ambassador of Victoria university: am so happy for my children getting bursary for international schools,” she posted.
