Rise to Prominence
Kennedy Bobie started his media career from Unity FM way back in 2005 when he was still in Primary Three (P3) as a Unity Kid under Kid’s Program that was scheduled for every Sundays and up to now he stands as a pioneer of Unity Kid’s show.
Not only concentrating in Unity Kid’s show, Kennedy also enrolled for training at one of the prominent sound company in Lira City, Capital sounds where he was trained on Sound Engineering, Deejaying, Audio production, Installation of Discs for Different TV companies, Installation of Radio boosters and many more concerning FM radio.
After his training and experience, Kennedy Bobbie was recruited as a Technician at Unity FM where he took over most of the installation works.
In 2018 when Radio Unity caught fire, he led the team that brought back the radio on air due his advanced experience.
With his skills in audio production, he as been one of the main brain behind the production of adverts at the station.
Also also trained some of the prominent personalities in the media industry such as Moto Ronald Tobof QFM, Dorcus Akullu Echel of Unity FM, Bua Akii of QFM on how to run shows, not forgetting Uganda’s top advert producer Andrew Onen who passed through him as a audio production student.
Outside Unity FM and now Kennedy Bobbie Entertainment
Bobbie founded Kennedy Bobbie Entertainment, a YouTube platform way back in the year 2020, the platform focuses on Entertainment, Politics and Media Interactions.
As it is challenge to start any other business, he had no cameras, no lights, no computers and everything was just a wish.
Today, the platform has grown bigger with over Twenty(20) staffs and all the wishes are now reality with services extending to events photography, graphics design, videography among others.
The platform works under controlled content without myth focusing on peace creation, love and unity among the content consumers.
Kennedy Bobbie Entertainment YouTube Channel is currently among the top channels being recognized and paid google.
Inspiration
Being newbies in YouTube business, some of the top people who were inspired Kennedy Bobbie entertainment includes Promoter Spragga of Spragga Promotions, Mr. Swag of InTooDeep, among others.
Education and Life outside entertainment.
As Bobbie struggled his way out to gain a better life like any other person wants and with his skills gained from Unity FM, he paid his school fees with money earned from DeeJaying gigs.
Bobbie as he was done with highschool and wanted to join campus to advance his media career, he was advised his boss Mr Odongo Charles alias Chako, Director Unity FM to study another course where since he already had enough skills in Media and Journalism, he then landed on Law.
Currently he’s working with Legal Aids Uganda under Uganda Law Society, Gulu Branch.
