Gulu University has installed up to 10 solar
street lights along the Peter Opok road, covering a distance of about 500 meters that stretches from Faculty of Medicine to Faculty of Agriculture and environment.
The initiative was to help improve the security of road users at night, most of whom are students and the security of the most expensive buildings at Gulu University – the Multifunctional Science Laboratory and the new library.
