In the third edition of Lira meetup, the team of gurus are yet to converge to discuss on the topic of “and Mobile Money, ways, means and challenges.”
This third edition has been scheduled for Friday, 24th, Feb 2023 and this time it will be held virtually as a way to help favor others who are distances apart.
Why Mobile Money?
Mobile Money is a service that allows you to send and receive money anywhere in Uganda using your mobile phone. Throughout East Africa, Mobile Money is the fastest and the most preferred way of sending and receiving money. Although some people still use card (Debit Cards), these constitute a tiny minority in Uganda, and even East Africa.
During this meetup, we’ll discuss the various ways of receiving payments on WordPress websites.
What is Lira Meetup.
Lira Meetup is based in Lira City, northern Uganda. These are group of local developers, designers, and publishers who get together to share knowledge and experience and to meet other users in the area. This Meetup is open to all who love WordPress.
The first edition of Lira meetup was held on the 7th Jan 2023 at Lira Town College where various experts like Pius Owiny the founder of Amuca Community Library, Ayo Lukas BJ of Gospel kingz, Angoda Emmanuel of TESI, Okwanga Oscar of Urban Magazine and many others met and discussed more about WordPress.
