Uganda Cranes right back Gavin Kizito Mugweri paid a courtesy visit to the Uganda Hippos camp in Ismailia. He reminded them about the importance of such a tournament and urged them to play to their best against Nigeria in the Quarter finals in order to qualify for the World Cup.
Gavin was captain of Uganda Hippos in the 2021 edition in Mauritania, guiding the team to the finals and currently plays for Egyptian Premier League side Alexandria Al Ijtihad
