Detailed results for Dokolo Woman Member of Parliament By-Election.
According to the results released the independent Electoral Commission of Uganda on thursday night at around 10:42pm for By-Election of Women member of parliament of Dokolo District following the death of Atat Cecilia Atim Ogwal’s death, UPC candidate, Sarah Aguti Nyangkori managed to take the lead to seat in the parliament for the next two years till 2026’s general election.
The detailed results of the election are as below;
1. Sarah Aguti Nyankori of Uganda People’s Congress scored 23,044 Votes Emerging the winner.
2. Adongo Janet
Elau Okello of National Resistance Movement scored 14,001 emerging the second.
3. Dr. Rosemary Austin Alwoch Ogwal of Forum for Democratic Change scored 8,168 votes Emerging the third.
4. Dr. Esther Akullo Obot Otada (Independent) Scored 790 falling in the fourth position
5. Ms. Harriet Ageno of National Unity Platform scored 727
6. Rebecca Arao(Independent
) scored 439
