Lango Province Pays 30 Million Shillings For FUFU Drum Trophy Damage
People of Lango Sub Region are most likely to part with 30 million shillings to pay for a FUFA DRUM trophy that was recently won Lango province team in the fufa drum tournament, but reportedly got damaged in a recent road accident.
Two people died on spot on 25th May 2024 after a Coaster vehicle number UBL 851Z belonging to Dokolo School of Nursing and Midwifery which was transporting Lango province players from a friendly match in Dokolo district had a head on collision with a Lorry Fuso number UBA 200J in Abutadi along Lira-Dokolo highway.
Dan Obote Kagere a FUFA Executive Committee Member said the trophy was procured at $7,000 which is about UGX 25.9 million and will have to be bought and replaced in case of damage.
