WordCamp Lira 2024 volunteers given a Five star for their commitments
In the recently concluded tech event, WordCamp Lira 2024 held on the 24th August 2024 at Lira Town College, a team of 8 volunteers left attendees, organizer and speakers in wonders for their team work and commitment to the success of the event.
This left many WordCamp experts from different regions wondering the selections criteria used the organizers in picking up the volunteers.
In his remarks, WordCamp Lira team leader, Mr Angoda Emmanuel appreciated them for the great job the did towards the success of the event and encouraged them not to let the spirit stop in this year’s event.
Angoda also added that they should continue to support events because one day they might also be upgraded to WordCamp organizer.
WordCamp Lira 2024 is the first Wordcamp event in the Northern region of Uganda organised Lira Meetup and is set to be an annual event.
