Women’s History Month and First Women’s Day on the Metaverse

Across Africa, India, Pakistan, Central America, South America and Mexico women are making great strides in technological fields, ecosystems and careers. Africa, the youngest of the continents with its growing population from 16 years to 32 years of age, women are dominating in numbers, but lacking in women’s engagement and involvement.

This Women’s History Month seeks to change that narrative and grow girls and women across multiple tech careers. Immersive Technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR) and Metaverse have been integrated in every aspect of human engagement and interaction. From the latest version of Artificial Intelligence to Immersive Environments created businesses like MetaverseWP, a US based company with global interactions and projects.

To help girls and women that are disabled and handicapped within challenged communities internationally. Encouraging girls and women that are disabled know they are seen and heard in the diverse fields of technology and tech can open doors as never before. Creating the First Women’s Day 2025 and Women’s History Month 2025 on the Metaverse celebrates what women are doing and accomplishing globally with multiple areas of technology.

Including importantly Latin America and Africa, those communities that are often forgotten, but should be seen because of the growth of tech initiatives to empower girls and women. The inclusion of girls and women that are disabled and handicapped must never be forgotten. Providing access to disabled women to contribute and celebrate the use of technology to bridge the digital divide. The United Nations has recognized this need and stated, “UN teams around the world are working to ensure that girls and women with disabilities are not just heard but empowered.” They’re often forgotten about even with legislation that demands inclusivity on web sites and now the growing Metaverse ecosystems.

“This is a digital reminder that true progress globally means inclusion for all.” Stated Jackson who is the Metaverse Program Director of the World Metaverse Council and advises on curriculums, programs and events. Using platforms like Spatial.io, ReadyPlayer.me and Sketchfab.com to allow for customized Avatar creation, direct engagement in networking and incorporation of Metaverse with Web Development.

Women Day 2025 and Women’s History Month 2025 is a transformative way for girls and women to network, grow digitally and be involved in ways that promote their journey as business owners, entrepreneurs and content creators. Women of color and culture are directly affected and can be positively engage because women of color and culture that are disabled may not have access to digital resources to help them to be business owners nor embrace being entrepreneurs.

Now is the time to help them with the use of AI, VR and Tech. There are millions of disabled women across Africa, Latin America, India, Pakistan, and Asia that are creative, intellectual, innovative and imaginative that need to be give a chance to show their skills, talents and abilities. Online events like the Women’s Day 2025 offer access, resources, networking and potential employment resources and opportunities. International Women’s Month is the right time and right place internationally to inspire and up-lift girls and women to be their authentic selves despite their handicap or disability.
