Lira Town College has been announced as the winner of Regional Information Communication and Technology ( ICT) Clubs competition for Secondary Schools in Northern Uganda.
The school innovated in an Artificial Intelligence software called “Leb-Lango AI translator) which translates Lango language in to English and vice versa.
The school in the second place was Dr. Obote College Boroboro who innovated a robot called “Doctorian Medical Assistant”.
This is to bridge the gap between Doctors and the patients in contagious cases delivering medicine ,prescription to patients with diseases like COVID19.
Aduku SS was number three with innovation on “Smart School Bell and Announcement System”
This is organized Uganda Communications Commission in partnership with Kisubi Associated Writers’ Agency (KAWA) and ISBAT University.
