As a result of alert of drugs theft reported to state house health Monitoring Unit to raise bar in health care in 2022 in Lira City & District Health Centers, State House Monitor unit led the team leader Dr. Stephen Ataro Ayella conducted a follow up service delivery monitor in Lira District & City but found gaps that needs to be address in order to improve of health service delivery to strengthen the system in Lango Dr. Stephen noted.
The team were received Lira District Chairman Hon.Okello Orik, Regional Security Office Maj.Milton Dumba, DHO Lira District Dr. Buchan Ocen, RCC Lawrence Egole, CAO Lira District Mr. Otim Ogete, Deputy RDC among others.


Riso Maj. Milton assured state house that they will help them to monitor since they are on the ground.
Hon. Okello Orik regretted human capital monitor system as a big challenge to the Lira District as a pilot District.
Lira District Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Otim noted that the District managed to pay salaries for all health workers despites the challenges.
In his closing remarks, Robert Okello Ayo Secretary Land Board Lira City applauded State House Team & Health Workers on positive areas but urged them to improve on negative areas as he borrowed a statement from the legal fraternity that fore won is fore arm.
