On Sunday, singer Professa Maros on his offical facebook page wrote to mourn the fallen Artist Zerokao.
Details goes as below;
“Dear friends, Ojok Isaac, commonly known as ZEROKAO was knocked dead on Friday morning a vehicle identified as belonging to a road construction company working on Lira – Kamdini Road.
He was from his home in Amuca heading to Bar when he met his death not far from Front Page.
This is the same spot which, not long ago, claimed the life of our brother BP.
It is worth noting that ZEROKAO was a musician and audio producer under Hot Soup Music Label, and he was being trained further at Hardcore Records in audio production.
ZEROKAO always believed that the best way to survive in this very expensive music industry was to have a side business.
This explains why he was very committed to his job than to his music.
From his hustle he bought a piece of land in Amuca and built a house.
Though he was single (at least to my knowledge) he managed to buy land and build a house from his small earnings.
Zerokao never despised any job. He was a carpenter, a farmer, a singer, a producer, a builder, a garbage collector, a waiter, name it.
While he looked at me as his role model, there were many things his life taught me also.
Some of his songs include: Wot Loro Dwe, Opangica, Atin Kic amongst others.
As he lays dead in the hospital mortuary, I can’t help but wish God had had mercy on the poor kid trying to put his future in order…

The frequency of deadly accidents on this spot should call our authorities to action.
A group of young kids perished on a tuktuk.
Immediately after, BeePee also lost his life there. While many cases don’t get to our ears, those around this area will tell you that three days never pass without an accident.
The darkest spots on this road are between Front Page and Odokomit Roundabout, and between Lestina and corner Lango College.
These spots are dark at night and without streetlights or humps to slow motorists down.
Back to ZEROKAO:
Those who knew Zerokao would tell you that If they were having a bad day, he was the person you could call and he would make you laugh.
Death really can strike from the least expected angles.
ZEROKAO may not be a music household name but his affable, jolly and humorous life infected us all and we loved him dearly.
He was also highly intelligent. He had this natural wisdom which is not got from school.
Zerokao is a cousin brother to my big brother’s wife and so it increased our bond when I realized he was my muko.
Won tol pe olaro kede aweno
Go well, lil bro

#nb He will be laid to rest in Bala on Thursday, the 9th of May, 2024.”
