Earlier on Monday, Barbie Kyagulanyi and Rt Hon Zahrah Luyirika joined fellow Human rights defenders across the boarder in Kenya for their annual Women Human Rights Defenders forum 2021.
Barbie however thanked these women of valor for their solidarity every time their strong voices is needed to stand out against human rights violations back at home.
“My message was picked from the quote Martin Luther King Jr who said, “Those who love peace must learn to organize as effectively as those who love war,” she said.
“In times like these when voices of dissent are being chocked and silenced across Africa, we need alot of cross boarder togetherness to organize, defend and protect human rights. I bring back home love, support and warm greetings from Nairobi,” she added.
