A double cabin that was from Kampala heading to Fort Portal this on Saturday afternoon collided with a taxi from Fort Portal heading to Kampala.
The accident claimed four lives on spot and 14 seriously injured. Among the people who died, two were staffs of Uganda bureau of statistics. These were Asasira Carol Ndiyo and Ssenyonga Peter who was a driver on their way to Kasese-Mpondwe for official duty.
The report says the cause of the accident was a boda boda guy who tried to cross the road.
8 of injured are females and six are men, all have been rushed to Kyegegwa health centre 4, Mubende and Buhinga hospitals.
